CEREAL DESSERT BARS WITH CHOCOLATE CHIPS
I recently watched an episode of the Netflix show Chef’s Table and they featured Christina Tosi, She is the founder, head chef, owner and CEO of Milk Bar. Let me say, I’m now a huge fan.
The show tells how, amongst other things, she’s famous for incorporating breakfast cereal in some of her baked goodies. As I watched the show, inspiration of adding cereal to some of my fresh baked treats ran through my mind. I couldn’t wait to try this.
I have now used cereal in cakes, breads and dessert bars. Incorporating cereal sometimes makes recipes, like this one, so easy and it always enhances the flavor of the dessert.
Though I don’t want to add cereal to all my baked treats, I enjoy baking with it and will see what more cereal infused baked desserts I can come up with.
